Secret Cincinnati Marriage Proposal Photography
On Sunday afternoon, we photographed our second marriage proposal in as many weeks. Travis proposed to Laura at Devou Park in Kentucky. Our first proposal with Jason and Becca’s proposal at The Great American Ballpark was captured earlier in December and we posted a video to Youtube. Travis called me last week because he actually saw Jason and Becca’s marriage proposal on Youtube after it went mini-viral. I love the power of social marketing.
The location of Devou Park is very popular with our Cincinnati couples as the park has an amazing overlook of Downtown Cincinnati. The big limitation, however, is that the park doesn’t provide much cover for us to hide. Luckily, since that area is also popular with wedding photographers, Angela and I could hide in plain sight and blend in as everyday landscape photographers without bringing attention to ourselves.
On Sunday we were about 50 yards uphill from Travis and Laura, we used our “big” guns (400mm 2.8 L IS and 300mm 2.8 L IS) to capture the photos and video.
